ARON Testament From the Human Plantation (Orph 017) 2010 4th LP from danish psychedelic DIY folkrocker and one-man-band. Warped songwriting and playing permeates the murky basement sound. Fuzzguitar and chunky drums mate in an unholy marriage of avantgarde rhythm and spasmodic jangling. Love, Monster, UFO, Demon, Hallucination, Drop-out, Death, Alien, Hippie, Most of the songs are first-takes and were made up along the way in the studio, making this a very improvised and honest recording. Recorded july 2009 - december 2009 at the HP studio.

No sign of a sign consists of 4-track recordings made by Morten Barfoed himself with the help of an acoustic guitar, a microphone, a digital delay, a metronome and various house utensils from his one-room apartment in Copenhagen NV during 1986, -87 and -88.
Mr. Barfod sings of loneliness, paranoia and love gone wrong
The music spans from psychedelic and progressive soundscapes to little pop-pieces that keep hanging in your ear.

Psychedelic horror-folk with danish lyrics dealing with primarily loneliness, submission and death. - "djævlebarn" is about a woman, who gives away her child to escape her own inevitable demise - "Edderkoppering" is a 60’s-insprired folk-rock tune full of sinister soundeffects and a floaty ending recalling the flock. - "Ud på landet" is a melancholic melodic affair ranging from experimentive disturbancies over country to trance-like sounds in a claustrophobic room full of voices. " Er det her" and "Djævlens Horn" are blues-inspired downerfolk, that along with 2 instrumentals "Nattens stjerner", "Drømmedagsprofet" and opening track "Den sorte ged" lay the foundation for a deviant, uncommercial and thorougly homemade electro-acoustic mass. DJÆVLENS HORN is ARONs third record. The style is still weird sinister songs, hallucinogenic soundscapes and a distinct lack of ambition to put professionalism before genuinity

Nicolai Vilhelm Tell Før Lyset Forsvinder (Orph 013) 2007 Singer/songwriter Nicolai Tell is a new and unknown quantity in danish underground rock. Out of the blue, or actually out of Ringsted a small Inspired by Alrune rod, Bifrost, Bo Hanson and Swedish folkmusic the feel is very much in the early 70’s vein. Nicolai Vilhelm Tell sings and plays all instruments including Hammond, Guitar, Bass, violin, drums and flutes. Complete with phased echo vocals, real sounds and strong, majestic songs, he creates a dreamy atmosphere and an ancient fairytale vibe. This is the real thing, from a man who find his way into the music, naturally and free of commercial calculations of any form.

De Sydfynske Alpedrenge Unissued tapes of acoustic folkpsych from start 70's hippie environment. Moody acid-music with violin, flute, piano, congas, vibraphone, acoustic bass, guitars and drums creating a flowing and dreamy feel. Inspired by Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Ritchie Havens but with a far more experimental side to it. Transgressing jazz and artrock and incorporating Blues and poetry the band shows a broad variety in their selfpenned songs and generel musical approach. Recorded live at a castle in Odense at various sessions between 1972 and 1975. All songs written by Kjeld Andersen, a prime specimen of the Danish singer/songwriter sadly overlooked in his time De Sydfynske Alpedrenge came out the youthclub "Cirklen" in Odense and was an important part of the underground scene there.

Inspired by bands like Day of phoenix and Culpepers orchard. The danish Lyrics give a distinct Alrune rod vibe. The music is both structured and Improvised and often goes off into some serious psychedelic jamming.
